ChoralSounds Northwest
For the fifth concert in our Masterworks series, ChoralSounds Northwest and VocalSounds Northwest collaborate with Northwest Symphony Orchestra to celebrate 250 years of Beethoven by performing his powerful and exquisite Mass in C, Op. 86. This earlier setting of his two masses shows Beethoven’s respect for Mozart and Haydn in this genre but also displays his own unique voice that continues to astound listeners two and a half centuries later. This performance will be offered in Burien and Bellevue.
