TeenSounds Artistic Director, Dr. Tyler Todd Kimmel

Tyler Todd Kimmel is a performing artist and educator based in the South Seattle area. Since 2011, he has dedicated his career to developing singers and actors of all ages. His professional experience includes voice and piano instruction, vocal coaching, choral and orchestral conducting, composing and arranging, and professional acting. He currently serves as the Secondary Choir and Theatre Director at Seattle Christian School. Throughout the Seattle area, he has also worked as a vocal clinician and adjudicator, as well as a vocal coach and conductor for musical theatre productions with youth and collegiate programs. Tyler holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from the University of Washington, a Master of Music in Theory and Composition with an emphasis in Orchestral Conducting from Florida International University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education and Music Theory and Composition from Pepperdine University.
