Paula Hawkins
Paula
Hawkins is conductor of the KidSounds, YouthSounds and
TeenSounds Northwest choruses. Ms. Hawkins has been a highly
respected music educator for many years. A graduate of Pacific
Lutheran University's School of Music, she served as facilitator
of fine arts in the Highline School District for 12 years and
has taught music to young children since 1970. She has been
active in the local arts community as a co-founder of the Burien
Coalition for the Arts and is a frequent presenter at Washington
Music Educators Association events. Paula was inducted
into the Washington Music Educators Association Hall of Fame in
2004 for her outstanding musicianship, dedication and
leadership.
