FREE Youth Ticket Program“A new study reveals that music
participation, defined as music lessons taken in or out of
school and parents attending concerts with their children, has a
positive effect on reading and mathematic achievement in early
childhood and adolescence.”
We believe that music is a vital element in a well-rounded life, and are pleased to offer a FREE ticket to all of our mainstage concerts to young people 17 & under, when accompanied by a paid adult. These concerts offer families an affordable and entertaining night out while sparking an appreciation for the choral arts and live performance in the youngest members of our community. Each person attending our shows will need a ticket. To order FREE Youth Tickets for any NWAA concert, click on the “Box Office” link above. Your free tickets will be seated with the adult ticket-holder for reserved seating events. For Festival Seating events, these free tickets will be mailed with your adult ticket order. Free tickets are subject to our standard $1.50 per ticket service fee. Together,
the choruses of NWAA are committed to building a lifetime love
for choral music among the youth of our community. With the
demise of music programs in most school districts, students have
few opportunities to experience the fun and joy of choral
performance.
