Audition Information
Cantaré
Vocal Ensemble is currently rehearsing for its second full
season of concerts in their new performance home at St. Mark's
Cathedral. Auditions for Cantaré Vocal Ensemble are by
appointment only. Interested singers must have previous choral
singing experience and possess some sight-reading skills.
Singers will be asked to sing a short excerpt from any song of
their choice - without accompaniment.
Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held most Saturday mornings from 9:30 until
noon, at St.
Catherine of Siena Church in the Maple Leaf neighborhood of
Seattle.
Additional Member Requirements
Members who sing in Cantare pay dues for each concert period.
Cantare singers also pay for their own music scores. Dues cover
portions of the conductor's salary, instrumentalist fees, and
general operating expenses. There is a required uniform concert
attire which is the singer's responsibility to obtain.
